Aluflam’s frames are constructed from thermally broken narrow aluminum extrusions filled with a proprietary fire blocking material. Window products are available in 20, 45, and 60 minute ratings and Vision Walls are available in a 60 minute rating, both for interior and exterior installation.
Aluflam Windows and Vision walls are factory finished and
fabricated complete before delivery — reducing installation and glazing to a conventional task for the commercial glazing contractor.

20 Minute Glazing | 20 Minute Glazing IGU
Pyroswiss 20 is a clear, monolithic fire-protective glass for interior applications – UL listed for up to 20 minutes fire rating. It is made of highly tempered safety glass with special edge treatment to withstand high thermal stress. Pyroswiss 20 meets CPSC 16CFR 1201-CAT II impact safety rating. Pyroswiss 20 can be combined into an IGU with a full range of insulating glass material options for exterior applications.
Contraflam 45 is a clear multi-chamber fire-protective glass for interior applications – UL listed for up to 45 minutes fire rating. It is made of tempered safety glass, sealed to be completely moisture-resistant, with internal chambers filled with an environmentally friendly, transparent and UV-stable alkaline silicate based chemical mixture.
